Welcome to Wrexham Basketball Club

Children wanting to get into basketball should attend sessions at Glyndwr University, Plas Coch Leisure Centre on Mondays;

Under 14s to Under 18s development 6pm-8pm, £3.All abilities welcome to onday sessions.

 

Youth squad members only, Under 16 and 18s, train at Ysgol Clywedog, Ruthin Road on Tuesdays between 7pm and 9pm. £3. Games £5 (cover officials' costs)

 

Mixed teams play in the North Wales Central Venue League at Holywell High School's Sports Hall, on Tuesday nights so both males and females are welcome. 

 

Seniors train at Glyndwr University on Monday nights. 

7pm-8pm development [£4] Any ability is welcome and the North Wales teams are not exclusively male, so women are very welcome to try it out, train and look at playing for the squad.

8-10pm senior squad [£6]. Squad only, £30 standing order per month until June 2020. £6 per session in September whilst standing order starts.

CHECK FIXTURES/RESULTS AND CALENDER

You can come to train, play in one of the teams or we're interested in volunteers who can support the club by becoming table officials and/or referees.

Players need to register with Basketball Wales. Team members need a kit to play in league fixtures and need to pay a club registration fee (£10 youth, £15 seniors) prior to playing in one of the teams.

CORONAVIRUS STATEMENT

Following statements from Basketball Wales Wrexham Basketball will suspend training for the next two weeks, from Monday 16th March to Friday 27th March.

North Wales Basketball have suspended all games at Holywell High School and the Cup Competitions that were meant to be held at Bangor University on Sunday 22nd March and Sunday 29th March.

We will be posting updates on our website, Twitter and Facebook.
